Do you sell flights and holiday packages?
Yes. We book: Domestic and international flights Holiday and tour packages Hotel accommodation Car hire Cruise and group travel Customized travel itineraries Are you the service provider for flights and hotels? No. Travel Value acts as a travel agent. Airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers provide the actual services and are responsible for their delivery.
How do I make a booking?
You can book by: Contacting us directly Requesting a quote Confirming your itinerary and accepting our Terms & Conditions Paying the required deposit or full amount Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Most bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure reservations. Some services, especially air tickets, require full payment upfront.
Are prices guaranteed?
Prices may change due to exchange rates, airline surcharges, or supplier costs until full payment is received. Once paid in full, your price is locked (excluding government or airline-imposed charges).
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept: EFT (bank transfer) Credit or debit cards (subject to approval) Certain foreign or premium cards may not be accepted.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes, but amendment and cancellation fees apply and vary by supplier. Airline changes can attract penalties of up to 100% of the ticket value.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds depend entirely on the supplier’s cancellation policy. Professional service fees charged by Travel Value are non-refundable.
Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It protects you against medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, and lost luggage. We are not liable for losses if you choose not to purchase insurance.
Does travel insurance cover COVID-19?
Coverage depends on the insurer and policy selected. Many policies exclude pandemics. We recommend checking with an insurance provider before purchasing.
Who is responsible for visas and passports?
The traveller is responsible for: Passport validity (minimum 6 months) Required visas Health and vaccination documents We can assist with guidance but are not responsible for visa approvals or document errors.
What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Airline delays, cancellations, overbooking, or schedule changes are the responsibility of the airline. We will assist where possible but cannot control airline decisions.
What if something goes wrong during my trip?
If an issue arises, contact the service provider immediately and notify us as soon as possible so we can assist.
Is travel safe right now?
Travel conditions vary by destination. We provide available travel information at the time of booking, but travel is always at your own risk, especially regarding health, weather, or political conditions.
Do you handle group or corporate travel?
Yes. We arrange group travel, corporate bookings, incentive trips, and customized itineraries.
What laws govern your services?
All bookings are governed by South African law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
